First ride of the New Year

So today I did my first ride of the new year. It turns out the other week when I decided to go flying over the bars I bent my brake lever so much that is wasn't working correctly and I could barely reach it. So this morning I headed over to Cooksons, since I was time short I was pushing it on the hills, but never seemed to really recover, obviously I'm losing fitness! Get there are they have one, not quite the same but rigger said it was fine! Glad I have as I have a hard ride planned for monday and I will need my brakes!

I got back to my phone ringing, my Dad was in Bolton early! He was meant to get there are 11am, so a quick change of clothes and Ali picked him up and dropped us both off over at Winter Hill. A walk over to the Black Dog, some lovely food and a beer, before Ali the taxi picked us both up. Reminded me how much I like hill walking, I never seem to do any anymore.

  2. I bet most normal people would of been very pleased just to have made it to the top of the hill!

    You're frighteningly strong on rigger!
