Preparation

So what is that on the bike? Yes its suspension forks. Them and a bigger rear cog were put on the bike today at cooksons. An evening ride with Odile and I had to remind myself that suspension forks did not mean that I could ride anything as I nearly overshot a corner. I did get down a set of steps (with some screaming though). Now time for lots of rest!

  2. Gone for 32/20. It felt fine last night apart from on the road (which there isn't going to be any of). I still will be walking up the hill, but hopefully the up-down sections I can still get up after 15hours!

  3. I've stuck a sus fork on my bike too, in advance of next weekend's "fun".

I find that I keep locking it out though. :-)

  4. I kept locking it out as well, climbing is so much better on a rigid fork!

  5. I'm running it fairly stiff too, with the lockout/compression barely off of full lockout.

I should put a stiffer spring in but I can't find it. Oh well. :-)
